Inspiring idea of using wood paneling on the ceiling
All the rooms have ceilings!
Even if the space itself is open plan, with double high walls, or a grand entrance corridor with balcony stairs and landing platforms, each place gives the illusion that there is no obvious ceiling, and eventually all the rooms will "stop" somewhere!
Most ceilings are built using plasterboard, which is almost always painted in the traditional way. Given that most ceilings are the same size as the floor below, this is a real shame, and most people think a lot about choosing floor coverings.
In fact, given its large surface area, more thought should be given to the finishing of the ceiling.
Often used on walls as an alternative to wallpaper or paint, wood wall panels are also an excellent choice for ceiling coverings, adding style, color and texture.
The benefits of covering ceilings with wood siding go beyond visual appeal. Just like walls, plastered ceilings are prone to fine line cracks, while fine surface filling and patching is fairly simple on walls, but the same cannot be said for ceilings!
Deco Sound has certainly become the first choice for clad ceilings. Largely depending on its designer look, not only does it look sensational in a home property, but since many interior designers and architects also prefer it to plain painted ceilings, it also adds to the ceilings of many commercial facilities.
Each section of the soundproof panel consists of a series of thin veneer strips. They are either mounted on acoustic felt like backing or simply provided as large fixed panels that do not provide sound insulation.
Deco Sound can easily be used as feature embedding details within the ceiling, perfect for defining the space below, or for covering the entire ceiling.
The most popular and intuitive way to use on ceilings is probably to install on walls and ceilings. It is particularly effective when the geometric linear design is mounted vertically on the wall and then continues to the ceiling, perfectly matching each individual slat, thus allowing the overall effect to flow seamlessly.
This idea works especially well in corridors, where Spaces tend to be narrow and give the illusion of being more spacious than they really are.
It also looks spectacular when used behind the bed in place of the headboard. Linear details of wood panels naturally lead to the bed, then the walls and ceiling, creating a style reminiscent of 'hotel chic'.
When you choose to use Deco Sound's wood wallboard collection, we are sure you will not be disappointed!
